Three-part series on data privacy/ANA Magazine

The state-led approach to data privacy law threatens the future of advertising. I wrote a three-piece series on data privacy in the U.S. that explores the need for a national data privacy law that protects consumers' right to privacy while preserving organizations' ability to responsibly use data for targeting. The third piece was particularly fun. It explores how AI can solve data privacy challenges — a perspective you don't read about often.

I am really proud of the reporting I did for this project. I conducted interviews with more than 12 sources, including privacy lawyers, brand marketers, and heads of industry associations.

Finally, a shout-out to the editorial team at ANA for their rigorous fact-checking, smart changes, and emotional support.
