Marketers are producing more content than ever before. Seventy percent of B2B marketers are producing more content now than they did one year ago, according to research from the Content Marketing Institute (CMI). CMI also found that B2C marketers use an average of 11 content marketing tactics, from social media strategies to blogs and eNewsletters.
It comes as no surprise that an increasing number of businesses are looking to hire a content marketing professional, expand their existing team or partner with a vendor. Successful content marketers possess a unique and varied skillset. They are great storytellers with journalist instincts, but they also have a gift for analytics, SEO experience and, importantly, the strategic mind of a marketer.
