With Q3 coming to a close, I am reflecting on what I accomplished these past six months, personally and professionally.
From a work perspective, I have been busy with:
- A year-long content engagement with Sapience Analytics, through Exxential. Together, we have created white papers, blog articles, thought leadership articles, video scripts, website copy, product messaging, and more.
- Inc. 5000 profiles (stories about companies that ranked on this year’s list of the fastest-growing privately-held companies in the U.S.)
- Articles for the first-ever Inc. 5000 Community, a free network for Inc. 5000 founders.
- SuiteConnect NYC, a NetSuite event. Then I went “SMB-hopping” down Bleeker street to write this story.
- Thought leadership and ghostwriting projects for One Strategy Group and its clients.
- A fun story for Fast Company / KPMG about the KPMG’s Women’s PGA Championship. I interviewed T-Mobile CEO Mike Sievert and KPMG Chair and CEO Paul Knopp for the project.
- A series of stories for the Association of National Advertisers (ANA) mag, including a Q&A with a marketing lead at White Claw and stories on the future of TikTok, a potential ad tax, and advertising ethics in the age of AI.
- Branded content projects (articles and ebooks) for Inc. mag and Insperity, Hiscox, and Salesforce.
- A series of special sections about HR technology.
On the horizon: two articles for a special edition of Boston Globe Magazine, “The Future of Medicine.” I am currently in the research stage.
But enough about work. Let’s talk about life. Here are some moments I want to remember:
- Juliette graduating elementary school and playing Ariel in the school play. Talk about the role of a lifetime.

- Colin playing all the sports. #GoSports (Pictured below: Colin and his buddy, Alex.)

- Live music! Lisa Loeb, Goose, the Dave Matthews Band (twice:), Meghan Trainor with a big group of 11-year-olds. (Up next: Sabrina Carpenter + Noah Kahan at Soundside Music Festival.
- Seeing Million Dollar Quartet at ACT theater of Connecticut, Hamilton on Broadway, and Sound of Music at the Theater by the Sea.

- Hiking, kayaking, tubing, indoor rock climbing, paddleboarding, and parasailing.

- Time in Rhode Island with my family and an epic family reunion for Matt’s side in New Rochelle, NY.
- The arrival of my niece, Fallon Kathleen. Congrats to my sister, Bre and her husband, Buddy. Matt and I now have eight nieces and nephews to spoil.
- One night in Philly with Matt and Colin.

- Three nights in Pawtuckaway, a state park in New Hampshire, with an amazing crew of expert campers.

- Our annual trip to Cape May with family and friends. New this year: college babysitters! The adults snuck away for dinner and drinks.

- Closing on a condo in Stratton, VT! This has been one of our life goals. And, heck yeah, we achieved it. Now we count down to ski season.
Thank you to my family, friends, clients, and partners for keeping me busy, happy, and constantly learning.
