What I am writing: A look back at Q1

Dear (work) diary,

How is it April? Time is a mysterious construct.

In Q1, I took on projects from new partners and familiar faces. Here is a look at what I have been working on:

  • A fun new brand messaging and copywriting project with River + Wolf, this time for a delightful children’s accessories and toy brand (more to share soon).
  • Continued thought leadership support for Gaggle AMP (I work with the CEO and his marketing team to write content for Forbes Council).
  • A number of stories for Inc. mag, including Inc. 5000 profiles and branded content for Fever-Tree and Insperity.
  • Email marketing support for Cloudinary, primarily around an upcoming event the company is hosting in London.
  • A powerful story for Boston Globe Media about mothers in recovery (publishing in May).
  • My first story for ANA — a piece about ChatGPT. Happy to say it led to an ongoing partnership.
  • A content strategy for Eden Collective.
  • Onboarding a new ghostwriting client in the ad agency space. Pumped!

On a personal note:

  • Finished up a fantastic ski season at Stratton, Vermont. Hosted some friends and family at the cabin we rented for the season. The photo above is from a ladies’ ski trip. It was basically us vs. a blizzard and we won.
  • Took a trip to Sunday River, Maine. The kids are crushing black diamonds and officially better than me and Matt.
  • Snuck off to Cabo for a special birthday trip for my best friend and sister-in-law.
  • Traveled to Nashville for a friend’s 40th. Spent the weekend in my hotel with a stomach bug. (You win some, you lose some.)
  • Saw Rock of Ages at ACT Theater, our amazing local theater company. Danced in my chair.
  • Chauffeured the children to various birthday parties, dance classes, and sports practices.
  • Made multiple trips to Brooklyn to spend time with my new nephew, Sun. He is perfect and my sister is my hero.

Bottom line: I am happy, lucky, and busy. But forever hungry for more. Drop me a line if you would like to chat about a potential collab. And thanks for reading my diary.

Love,
Jacqueline
